Dr. Michael L. Kesner, DDS
Dr. Mike Kesner grew up in Sugar Land, and is the founder and 
owner of Made Ya Smile Dental. He has been practicing dentistry in the Sugar Land area since 1984.
Dr. Kesner received his undergraduate degree from Houston Baptist University in 1980 with a double major in Biology and Chemistry. He received his DDS degree in 1984 from the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, the International Association for Orthodontics, the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain, and is a Diplomat of the American Academy of Pain Management.
Dr. Kesner is a faculty member for the DenMat Corporation, the inventor and manufacture of Lumineers. He lectures nationally to dentists on the cosmetic dentistry and the Lumineer procedures. He also teaches "over-the-shoulder" Lumineer placement courses in his office to dentists from around the nation. Dr. Kesner has been named the "#1 Lumineers dentist" by the DenMat Corporation for having done more Lumineers than any other dentist in the world since 2006.
Dr. Kesner teaches and consults dentists around the nation on how to be more successful in the clinical, staffing and management areas of their practices. Dr. Kesner lectures nationally on dental practice management and writes articles for national dental publications.
He and his wife, Debbie, live outside the city of Damon where they raise black Brangus cattle as a hobby. This is why you will usually find Dr. Kesner in his cowboy boots and Wranglers...even at the office. He and his wife have been married for over 30 years and have two children, and three grandchildren.
Snow skiing, travelling and driving fast cars are things that Dr. Kesner enjoys doing in his free time.
Dr. Michael Holmes, DDS 
Dr. Michael Holmes was born and raised in Pasadena, Texas. He studied Dental Laboratory Sciences Sciences at Texas State Technical Institute in Waco, Texas before receiving his DDS degree from the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston in 1989.
A second generation dentist, Dr. Holmes offers a wealth of experience and compassionate care to his patients. With 22 years in private dentistry and another 12 in laboratory science, he is well suited to provide the excellent treatment his patients deserve. Copious continuing education and training ensures that Dr. Holmes stays on the leading edge of contemporary dental care in areas such as Cosmetics and Oral Surgery. He is a member of the Academy of Cosmetic Dentists.
Dr. Holmes has always been and will ever be a family man, and he thinks of his patients as family. He prodes himself on the gentleness and nuturing care that he provides to his patients.
In the event that you catch him away from the office, Dr. Holmes will likely be found at Bass pro Shops, gearing up for his next camping or hunting "expedition." His favorite dessert is apple pie like any red-blooded American, and he considers his wife Becky and their 2 children to be his greatest blessings.
Dr. Edgar Mafla, DDS
Dr. Edgar Mafla is an accomplished general dentist with over 
18 years of private practice experience. Born and raised in Colombia, where both of his parents were compassionate dentists. Dentistry has always been his life. His father, a prosthodontist, who specialized in cosmetic dentistry and his mother, a periodontist, who specialized in treating gums. His early years spent working in their practices served as a catalyst for his passion for dentistry.
Dr. Mafla graduated from the Javeriana University School of Dentistry in Colombia in 1993, and International Dental Studies program at the University of The Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco, California in 2009. He received distinguished awards including the Clinical Excellence Award for his outstanding technical skills and was inducted into the OKU National Dental Honor Society.
His background includes extensive continuing education in all phases of dentistry with emphasis on prosthodontics and cosmetics. He has served as faculty member, guest speaker, and has contributed many hours to community service.
As a member of many professional organizations including the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, and Greater Houston Dental Society, he is always at the vanguard in dentistry. Dr. Mafla always strives to offer the latest and most advanced techniques to his patients in a familiar and compassionate manner.
Dr. Mafla enjoys the outdoors and you might find him playing golf or visiting the different festivals in Texas. He loves spending this quality time with his beautiful wife of 18 years, Maria and their daughter, Laura. They are both the loves of his life.
Dr. Joe Prasifka, DDS
Dr. Joe Prasifka grew up in Wharton, Texas. He graduated from Southern MethodistUniversityin 1969 with a degree in Chemistry.
In 1974, he received his DDS degree from the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and he has completed multiple courses at the Las Vegas Institute of Cosmetic Dentistry. He is also a Preferred Invisalign Provider and has received training in Lumineers, Oral Conscious Sedation, and Oral Surgery.
After owning a private practice in Wharton for 30 years, Dr. Prasifka decided to retire. A year later he found that he missed working with his staff to provide the highest quality dental care for his patients. With an outgoing personality and a love of dentistry, he has produced many satisfied smiles over the years.
He has been married for over 40 years to his wife, Ada. They still reside in Wharton and have a son and daughter. In his spare time, Dr. Prasifka enjoys golf, exercising at the gym, seeing the latest movies, gardening, and reading.
Dr. Dan Sperzel, DM
Dr. Daniel Sperzel earned his bachelor degree in Biology from the State University of New York Albany, and his DMD degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine located in Boston, Massachusetts. He also completed a general practice residency at the University Hospital at Stony Brook, NY.
Since 1999 Dr. Sperzel has practiced dentistry in New York, Florida and Texas. He is a certified provider of Lumineers and Invisalign. Dr. Sperzel is known for his commitment to the highest quality dentistry, and his gentle touch with his patients.
Dr. Sperzel is married with 2 children and is a self-described family man. His interests include golf, fishing, diving and spending time with his children.
Dr. Aekta Fifadara, DMD
Dr. Aekta Fifadara was born and raised in Albany, NY. With a desire for city living, she began her path to dentistry in Boston, MA where she received her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. Upon graduation, Dr. Fifadara furthered her education by completing a year long General Practice Residency Program at Queens Hospital in NY.
Prior to moving to the lovely city of Houston, Dr. Fifadara had been practicing in private practice in Chicago, IL performing all facets of dentistry from cosmetic to oral surgery. She stays up to date with the newest dental techniques and technology through several continuing education courses. Currently, Dr. Fifadara is a member of the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association and the Greater Houston Dental Society.
Dr. Fifadara’s experiences in dentistry have molded her into a dental provider that truly enjoys all aspects of general dentistry as well as treating patients of all ages. Her goal, as a dentist, is someone who not only provides quality dentistry but also treats her patients with compassion. With a warm, fun loving attitude, her philosophy is to treat each and every patient as if they are family.
Dr. Fifadara resides in Sugar Land with her husband. In her spare time she enjoys to travel, dance, eat good food, and spend time with friends and family.
